The other day one of my mentors, Mark Mason, found an really interesting post on the Warrior Forums that I wanted to share with you.  It seems that one of the young readers over at WF claims to have created a blog and in 3 weeks began seeing $70 in income revenue.  Here’s the original post on WF. The post seemed very convincing as many of the claims made on WF are exaggerated and usually blown out of proportion.  One of the most interesting things, regardless of claims of income, is the power of article marketing and how with just a few well written articles this marketer was able to turn a profit.

One thing for sure is that Internet Marketing is NOT a science. There is no one size fits all formula for making money.  If there was it was, it would be easy and everyone would be rolling in doe.   But that’s not the case.

The following steps are a pretty standard way to build a niche site and get incoming traffic. This is just a beginning and depending on your niche may not work at all but I thought this was something to be shared…

  • 1st - Get a writer to write 25 articles related to a Clickbank product related to the niche you are targetting.  This will be the product that you will be offering from your website.
  • 2nd - Submit the articles to 20 Article Directories. Don’t forget to include good back links to your website in each article in the resource box . Ensure all of the articles are accepted from all the directories. Be sure to use articles that are highly targeted to your niche (with luck you could receive around few thousand viewsin about 2 weeks)
Good articles can be expensive – expect to pay up to $15 per article but as with anything you get what you pay for.  Make sure the articles are very ease to read and understand and essentially tell the reader that they need to visit your website.
  • 3rd - Submit your website to 25-30 directories for the next 20 days. There are alot of directories out there to choose from – but 25-30 should do fine. Here’s a great list of directories.
  • 4th – Get your writer to write another 5 articles and make 2 squidoo lenses (or Hub Pages). Again articles are basically telling the visitor why they should buy this product and how it will help them. Include 3 backlinks to your website in each lenses. Squidoo (and Hub Pages) is a very powerful tools that google just loves and will allow your site to be crawled very quickly.
  • 5th – Submit your website to 10 social bookmarking websites. Use moderation here. Submit your website once per day.  It will take 10 days to complete but it will only take 2 Min’s of your time.  Take this part very slow.  You want this to be very natural.

For some added Umph!

  • Add Video and MP3 to your blog -  this can be a simple recording of your own personal endorsement or a video of you using the product.
  • Get an email autoresponder setup and have 10 more articles written to be sent out as part of an email promotion or newletter.
  • Have your writer (or do this yourself) – write up a short report or ebook to be given away as part of singing up for your email news letter.

Again all of the above steps are fairly standard stuff.  The trick is in the RESEARCH you do up front to find the niche, your choice of key word phrases, and the competition in each of those phrases.

To help with this critical phase of the niche building process I’ve been seriously contemplating getting the Micro Nich Find Tool.  If I do I’ll let you all know what I think.

Until next time take care!
